At night we are typically less active - So if you eat late at night (which is usually junk food) it leads to weight gain - which eventually gets worse and worse
SO how do we combat this problem of feeling hungry late at night?
1. Spread you eating through out the day - 5- 6 small meals
2. Don't drink alcohol not only does it packs its own calories but also because it tends to increase appetite and usually bad food choice
3 If you have no choice and have to eat late night dinners well then try to make lunch the main meal and dinner a light meal.
4. Eat slowly enjoy your meals (esp that lunch if you have a light dinner)
But what about the late night munchies after dinner?
If you really listen to your body it might not be hungry (after all you had your dinner already)- usually your body is thirsty - fill up a glass of water and enjoy it instead of eating late night junk.
Learn to listen to your body!!!
If you treat it right it will treat you right and take you on a longer and joyful life journey.
