Lot of people out there don't workout because they don't want to gain muscle.
They are wrong don't listen to them!
Lot of people out there think that they can just run the treadmill and lose weight.
They are semi wrong listen to them and read this!
Running - will get you fit but not enough (running will get you a great cardio-vascular health but you still wont be considered fit)
SO YOU NEED SOME KIND OF RESISTANCE WEIGHT BEARING WORKOUT!
Remember - Having muscle = body needs more to function - so more calories it will burn on day to day basis; even if you just sit on your BUTT!!
Every wonder how guys and gals who are fit seem to always keep that "pudge" OF!
Well because frankly they do some kinda resistance workout with their cardio. - OK!
So people who are afraid of lifting weights start lifting them you will see that fat melt of quicker - also - people who do not want to gain muscle mass DO MORE REPS AKA - TONE your muscle
REMEMBER
8 to 10 reps(heavy weight) if you want to gain muscle - SIZE
12 to 16 reps (light to medium weight) if you want to tone your muscle - TONE
Running the treadmill with some resistant work out will help you get your result faster.(also a good diet - will be covered next week in fitness tips so keep up.)
Some benefits of resistance training = Stronger BONES
You know you will need these when you get old - (do you want that slouchy back and lose height when you are older?)
So if you haven't already start working out
(A routine that consists of Resistance training and Cardio-vascular training)
